What is the difference between a Therapeutic and a Relaxation Massage?

A relaxation massage is a soothing, flowing, lighter experience, while a therapeutic massage is a firmer pressure focusing on tight muscles and requires more intensity. Relaxation massages and therapeutic massages can both be tailored to the needs and goals of the client, but therapeutic massages are designed to release tension in muscles and tissues of your body while relaxation massages are meant to calm you and remove tension from your body.
